Key features of the 4.1-5m (14-17′) Premium Green 4-Ply Caravan Cover;

Breathable heavy duty non woven polypropylene 4-ply material, helping moisture to evaporate reducing the risk of mould, mildew or algae. The material features a soft non-abrasive backing which is designed not to scratch a vehicle when fitted, and is also bonded, using an innovative rounded pattern, helping it to resist stress and tears under normal conditions.

Material has high UV protection, ensuring a long product life. The highly water resistant material (up to 1000mm hydrostatic pressure head test), provides excellent protection from the elements.

All covers are easy to fit with full fitting and care instructions provided “Water resistant” means the material will repel water but is not thoroughly waterproof. Maypole 4-ply covers are independently tested and will withstand the pressure of up to 1000mm of water. The breathable material allows condensation and water to evaporate – essential for long term storage.

 portant:•Do NOT attempt to fit the cover in windy conditions•Do NOT use your caravan’s heating system with the cover fitted•Do NOT attempt to tow yourcaravanwith the cover fitted•When opening and closing a zip, always ensure the cover surrounding it is straight and not too tight. This will prevent excessive strain and possible failure of the zip.•Do NOT over-tension straps as this may damage your cover•To help prevent the natural growth of mouldinside the caravan;regular ventilation and the use of a de-humidifier is recommendedin long term storage.•During long termstorage it is recommended the exterior of thecaravan is regularly cleaned to helpminimizethe possibility of mould growing between the body work and the caravan cover.Before fitting your cover:•Remove, fold away or cover any sharp or fragile objects (such as aerials, guttering, wing mirrors, awnings and ladders etc) on the exterior of yourcaravanto avoid damage to both them andthe cover.•Close all windows and rooflightsetc.•Ensure thatthe handbrake isapplied,fridges and heaters etc are turned off and the corner jacks are down.•It is preferable, but not essential, that yourcaravanexterior isdry before fitting yourcover.•Your caravan exteriorMUST be clean. In the wind, the friction caused by dust and dirt particles can leave scratch marks. •To avoid damage to the paintwork caused by the material flapping in the wind, make sure the cover is fastened properly i.e. straps are adjusted and tensioned.•Not recommended for use in extremely exposed locations or gale force wind.Fitting your cover:Two people and the careful use of stepladders or a stable platform will be required as the cover is large, heavy and needs to be passed carefully over all sections of your caravan. WARNING: If using stepladders or a platform you will be working at height and should follow carefully the stepladder / platform manufacturer’s safety instructions. You should not attempt to fit the cover fromthe ladder but only to use the ladder if required to assist people on the ground.1.Open out the coverand pass over the roof, starting from the front and working towards the rear, lifting the cover carefully overrooflightsand otherprotruding objects.If necessary due to a tight fit, unzip the zips.Note: The cover can be maneuvered using the straps.2.Adjust the position of the cover and close the zips carefully.3.Adjust the cover’s position to achieve an even fit around the front of the caravan.4.If the cover is longer than the caravan, carefully pull the excess material to the rear of the caravan, carefully fold the excess material of the side panels around the rear of the caravanand secure with the tworear straps provided.Do not overtighten these straps!as this will exert excessive strain on the zips5.Passthe sidestrapsunderyourcaravanand secure to the corresponding buckle on the opposite side. 6.Adjustall straps as requiredto give a good fit.7.For side door access; unzip the middle zip and closest corner zip to where the door is positioned. This provides quick easy door access without removing the whole cover.Itmaybe necessary to release the rear straps to avoid excessive strain on the zips.Care of your cover:•Allow the cover to dry completely before storing in the bag provided.•Do NOT machine wash or tumble dry this cover. Removedirt with a soft sponge and warm water. Do NOT use detergent.•Do NOT expose this cover to sparks, flames or other sources of ignition.
