• Product DescriptionA 230V 16Amp portable distribution boardwith 15mof cable and a16Amp site connector. Includesa 30mA RCCB(Earth leakage cut-out) with test button, double pole 16amp MCB (circuit breaker),power “ON” indicator lamp, twin USB outputsand three 13Amp splash proof BS socketswith hinged, protective covers.Instructions for UseThe unit can be suspended by the metal handleorattacheddirectlyto a tent pole usingthe “C” clips provided. These clips can be pushed onto manytent poles and will hold the unit securely. We recommend that the unit is not used when lying on the groundas this could result in accidental damage to the unit,oritbecoming wet.The cable must be fully unrolled before use to avoid excessive heat build-up during use andshouldthenbeplugged into the mains supply(Maypoleadaptors are available for BS or European socket outlets).Testingbefore UseIt is important to test the unit before eachuse to ensure that the RCCBearth leakage safety cut-outis working correctly.To do thisthe unit should be connected to the 230V mains supply. No appliances should be connected to the unit at this stage. Open the hinged translucent cover on the front of the unit and move both switches to the “ON” position,the Red “Power On” indicator lamp should now be illuminated andthe sockets should be live. To test, simplypressthe test button marked “T” on the RCCB. The switch on the RCCBshould immediately move to the “OFF” positionand the “Power On” indicator should go off. If this does not happen, disconnect the unit and refer to a qualified electrician or your dealer as the safety protection device is not workingcorrectly. If working correctly, return the switch on the RCCBto the “ON” position and continue to use the unit.USB outletsTwo USB type A outlets are provided. If only one device is connected, 2.1A will be available at eitheroutlet. Connecting a second device will result in 1A available at both outlets.Warning•Inspect the condition of the lead and enclosurebeforeuse and do not use if parts are missing, worn or damaged.•Test the RCCBbefore each use. Do not use this unit if the RCCBis not working correctly.•To ensure electrical safety, this unit should only be repaired by a qualified or competent electrician.•Do not exceed the total stated capacity of this unit, 16Amps, as this will cause an overload and cut-out.
